Milwaukee To Host 2010 Malibu Open

Malibu Boats and Milwaukee County Parks have teamed up to bring the 2010 Malibu Open to Veteran's Park in Milwaukee, Wis. The world-record capability slalom and jumping event, which will be sanctioned by USA Water Ski, will be held Aug. 6-7. The finals will be held under the lights with a total cash-prize purse of $50,000 at stake.

World 35+ Qualification Deadline Extended

The IWWF Tournament Council has extended the rankings list qualifications' period for the 2010 World 35+ Water Ski Championships. A special qualifications' ranking list will be made from results performed in the time period from May 1, 2009 to July 12, 2010.

2010 Big Dawg Slalom Series Set

The 2010 O'Brien Big Dawg Slalom Series, presented by Nautiques, will consist of two qualifiers and a championship event. The championship will be held Sept. 25-26 at the Isles of Lake Hancock in Winter Garden, Fla. This was the site of the championship in 2006, 2007 and 2008.
